The Fuchstanz is situated in the middle of the forest and is therefore only able to be reached on foot or by bicycles. It's not allowed to drive with cars or motorcycles on trails or on forestry ways. No parking directly in front of the house.
You are coming from Königstein ? B8 direction Limburg, car park at the village border on the right (Kaiser-Friedrich-Weg / Tillmannsweg), from there 4,5 km uphill on foot; (about 1 hour); From Oberursel: lots of car parks near the terminus of U3 Hohemark, from here 6,5 km on foot or further on with the bus (Line 511); uphill through the valley direction Feldberg; Shortest way for motorized: 7 km above the terminus of U3 Hohemark there is a car park (with only a few places) where the road bends strongly to the right, you cross the street on foot and follow the forestry way, about 2 km, or from Kleiner Feldberg: from the car park about 3 km downhill. The trails are equiped with signposts. Hint: On some days with a "superweather" all roads uphill to the Feldberg Hills" may be closed due to overcrowding. It's recommanded to start just in time or to take the U3 terminus Hohemark and hope for further transfer uphill with a bus.
