At an altitude of 662 m, the Fuchstanz is focus of many Taunus trails. It's time to take a rest, stopping here is the only gastronomic chance when you climb up to the Große Feldberg or to the Kleine Feldberg.

Way down in Frankfurt in wintertime, it's hard to find some snow even for month or weeks. Searching has an end ! When the real winter arrives, it takes place first here at the Fuchstanz area up in the Taunus hills. This is the famous meeting place for tobogganers and skiers. Full house ? Don't care ! With a cup of glogg, punch or hot orange juice from the stand the small talk time won't ever end.
